I've been wearing them almost exclusively
for the last 10 years. I know I can rely on the quality of
the product and accuracy of fit. With a little care, these
shoes look and feel like new well into their second sole. I
bought the white Pro Walkers specifically for playing
croquet. The flat sole is totally acceptable, and the
leather upper always looks smarter that the old canvas tops
of some others.
I've been wearing this model for the last 6 years. I am a
Retail Store Manager who is on her feet for 10 to 12 hours a
day. I'm also very heavyset and need really good support.
This shoe comes through day after day. It was referred to me
by postal workers who are also tough on their shoes. It puts
the New Balance walkers to shame! Try it, you won't be
It is the most comfortable shoe for wearing for long periods
of time. I am on my feet from 4am to 6pm and my feet and
back are less tired than if i wore another shoe. Could not
do without them i live in Canada and shop in the USA for
these babies hope they never stop making them.
This is not the shoe I was looking for. I had a pair of 904
for years. Great shoe! These are a close second but more
like a sports shoe. Very comfortable though, and felt fine
the first day I wore them - all day. The 904 was much more
dressy and very good for long days like when flying to
Hawaii. I've worn the 7100s for 14 hour days without any
problems. Good fit - size and width. Good buy.
My feet are narrow and, well, rather bony on top. The padded
tongue to these shoes is vital to comfort. Other shoes of
the same brand include some which are exceptionally painful
to me because they have insufficient of this padding. Indeed
most shoes are uncomfortable to me, but the 7100/7108 are
fine right off. I bought these because I bought a pair of
7108s on a visit to Boston some time ago, and they are
starting to break up [seam failure]. 7100 was as close as I
could find in the Shoebuy catalog, and when the shoes
arrived they were ... 7108s!
